Beaverstock reveals its line-up for 2016

A Two-Day Celebration of Music, Arts and Community

April 15, 2016 (Templeton, CA) – Beaverstock music and arts festival returns to the meadow of Whale Rock Vineyard at Castoro Cellars for its fourth year September 17 – 18, 2016. The annual fall festival brings together two days of music, art, community celebration and family fun all benefitting local charities. The weekend will be headlined by the unbridled soulful Sharon Jones and her 11-piece band the Dap-Kings on Saturday and the multitalented American roots singer songwriter Jackie Greene on Sunday. With over 15 bands on two stages Beaverstock is so much more than just a music festival; local art, yoga, games, kids activities plus local food, craft beer and Castoro wines all add to the weekend experience. Tickets are now on sale at www.castorocellars.com/beaverstock.

“We are really excited to announce this years line-up. We wanted the 2016 bands to appeal to a wide audience and span multiple genres,” said Luke Udsen, California sales & marketing director and co-founder of the festival. “The eclectic feel-good vibe of Beaverstock brings together the community in a very special way, which has always been our family’s vision for the festival”

On the Beaverstock Main Stage Saturday’s line-up includes local favorite One Time Spaceman, the soulful rock group Tumbleweed Wanderers, Indie folk pop band The Shook Twins, well-known funk rockers The Main Squeeze and headlined by the funky rhythmic sounds of Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings.  Sunday’s line-up features the unique sounds of the sister trio Baskery, American bluegrass orchestra The Dustbowl Revival, the delicious funky soulful sound of Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe and headliner Jackie Greene who delivers comforting chords and inspirational lyrics.

The Stompin Grounds stage will feature local favorite bands: Bear Market Riot, Chris Beland, Captain Nasty, Shawn Clark Family Band and more. The Beaverstock 2016 Playlist is now available on Spotify.

Guests will also enjoy a collection of local artists and art lounge, yoga sessions for all ages, craft workshops for children and yard games. Beaverstock prides itself on being much more than a music festival.
