GENERAL STORE PASO ROBLES TO OPEN SECOND LOCATION THIS SUMMER

“Notable Goods” to offer thoughtful provisions in downtown Paso

Paso Robles, CA (May 17, 2018) – General Store Paso Robles is proud to announce it will be opening a second location – also in downtown Paso – this summer (2018). The news comes on the fifth anniversary of the opening of its now-flagship downtown store, located across from the city park.

Located in the Brickyard, a new project in the alley between Park and Pine Streets, it is just around the corner from the existing location. The Brickyard boasts a gorgeous courtyard, and the shop will face the outdoor dining area of the soon to be opened Jeffry’s Wine Country BBQ restaurant.

Called “General Store Notable Goods,” the store will offer a curated selection of books, paper goods and, in the words of co-founder Erin Stuck, “more of our favorite things! The General Store focuses on local provisions and useful items. Our new shop gives us the chance to add even more things that inspire you."

Explains co-founder Jillian Waters, “When we saw how beautiful, inviting and special the Brickyard was, we knew it would be the perfect spot. As owners, Notable Goods gives us a chance to dive a little deeper into our personal interests. We plan to have an extensive cookbook selection, as well as stationery, cards, journals and anything you’d want to feed your creativity.”

“We’ve been asked many times about when we’d open a second store,” adds the third founder, Joeli Yaguda. “We looked at several possibilities in other cities, but we love it here. We want to do business right here in Paso, and we want to do it together. This gives us the chance to keep working side by side while adding more to what makes downtown so vibrant and unlike any we know. We certainly didn’t expect to find our next project in the alley around the corner - but we feel our customers will find it as charming as we do!”
