Re:Find Distillery Adds San Francisco-Trained Mixologist To The Team

September 16, 2016 (Paso Robles) - Re:Find Distillery recently hired San Francisco-trained mixologist, Adam Scheiderer. Scheiderer’s role is to assist with distilling and creating new products as Re:Find continues to grow its craft-distilling business.

Scheiderer recently moved to the Central Coast from San Francisco where he obtained extensive bartending experience, most recently at Future Bars Group, which includes Devil's Acre, Rickhouse, Tradition and Local Edition. Scheiderer’s experience in cocktail development and crafting recipes began when he contributed to the cocktail menu for the newly opened restaurant, Ada St. in Chicago.

“Adam’s experience in product development and creating cocktails for restaurants is a great fit for Re:Find as the business expands across California and into new markets,” said Alex Villicana distiller and proprietor. “We often find restaurants looking to build or update their signature menus and now our team can be a resource for these customers.”

In the market, Scheiderer will work with bar managers to develop cocktails using Re:Find spirits and ingredients already behind the bar which is a great opportunity for those “non-cocktail” focused restaurants to increase their spirit focus.

"I am a student of food, wine, and spirits and an enthusiast of the inexplicable joy that they bring.  As a bartender, I strive to be creative and sustainable in my work, and to learn as much about my craft everyday,” said Scheiderer. “Re:Find is the perfect fit for me."

This key hire is yet another part of the long-term vision of Re:Find owners Monica and Alex Villicana, who earlier this year purchased the Paso Robles Fox Theatre to grow their business and restore a piece of history in the Paso Robles community.

About Re:Find Distillery

Re:Find Distillery was created out of the Villicana’s desire to be more economically and environmentally sustainable in their winery practices by utilizing resources otherwise discarded. As a winemaker for more than 20 years, Alex experienced first-hand the amount of prized free-run juice not being used each vintage. After years of research he found a way to utilize the juice for a new purpose in making craft-spirits. His vision saves the equivalent of more than 50-acres of premium Paso Robles wine grapes each year. That’s a lot of water, fuel, and manpower being repurposed into a premium spirit.
