Special Fundraiser Dinner Supporting Local Honduran Family in Major Car Accident

On Tuesday, August 21, Owner and Chef Santos MacDonal presents a special 4-course, fixed-price menu to help a fellow Honduran family.

August 16, 2018 (Paso Robles, Calif.) – La Cosecha Bar + Restaurant will host a 4-course fundraising dinner, Tuesday, August 21 from 5-9pm for $50 per person, plus tax and gratuity. 

Chef MacDonal’s specially-designed menu will be available from 5-9pm. No reservation required. Normally closed on Tuesdays, La Cosecha is opening its doors for this special relief dinner.

All proceeds will go to the local Garcia family to cover their expenses after losing both a father and son in a tragic car accident on July 29, along Highway 101’s Cuesta Grade.

As the Garcia family still grieves, the medical expenses from the accident have placed them in dire financial trouble. 

After hearing about the family’s loss and financial distress, MacDonal jumped at the opportunity to help another family with Honduran roots. MacDonal takes great pride in his heritage – La Cosecha’s cuisine is inspired by his Honduran upbringing, along with flavors from Spain and South America.
