New in Paso Robles Wine Country – What’s Happening Around Town This Fall and Harvest Season
Paso Robles, Calif., - September 16, 2025 - Checking in from the sunny Central Coast of California, Paso Robles wine country invites visitors to experience a slew of new offerings and a fall lineup of events aligning with the harvest season.

Downtown City Park–New to the Square
Downtown City Park is home to concerts, farmers markets and twinkling lights-not to mention peruse-worthy businesses. Looking for wine without the winding road? Try local wine bars or tasting rooms conveniently located around the park. Or stop in for a bite at one of the surrounding restaurants, like relative new comer S’aranella - a modern tapas bar. For those staying overnight, both The Ava Hotel, opened in August, and the recently renovated, historic Paso Robles Inn offer elegance steps away from the heart of Paso.
See what’s new near Downtown:
- The Ava Hotel, downtown Paso’s newest hotel is officially open and a must-see addition to the downtown square. Featuring gorgeous rooms, event space, and three distinctive culinary offerings: the signature Mediterranean-inspired restaurant EMRE by Julien Asseo (opening soon),Pine Street Bistro, and the town’s largest rooftop bar and poolside lounge,Esperanza on the Rooftop.
- Around the square, the historicPaso Robles Inn recently underwent a major renovation with a culinary refresh underway. MICHELIN starred chef Charlie Palmer is set to revamp the culinary suite, with soon to come three new restaurants across the Paso Robles Inn and sister property,The Piccolo.
- Paso Bottle Shop is a new marketplace in the back alley next to speakeasy 1122, housing boutique wineries Rockbound Cellars,Hayseed and Housdon, Mid-point, and Nenow Family Wines, as well as bites from soon to be brick and mortar restaurantThe Staviary.
- Taste of SLO Food & Wine Tours has introduced the only walking food and wine tour in Paso Robles, launched in March 2025. The guided tasting experience brings visitors off the beaten path and into the heart of downtown Paso Robles, where they will enjoy curated tastings from local restaurants, craft cocktail lounges, artisanal dessert shops, and boutique wineries. And this fall, the tour highlights Paso’s harvest season with seasonal dishes and special pours featured along the route.
- Sweet Escapes is Paso’s first and only Escape Room serving up French pastries and fresh challenges just around the corner from Downtown City Park.
New Eats in Town
Paso Robles culinary scene continues to evolve and thrive, supported by artisan wines and fresh, local ingredients. Below are just a few of the new bites:
- Grace and Rose – A new restaurant housed in a 1915 farmhouse just a short walk from downtown, Grace and Rose brings farm to table eats to a cozy, yet fresh environment.
- The Eatery at Vina Robles–The Eatery at the new Vina Robles tasting room near downtown serves a seasonal, Italian-inspired menu through a hybrid model that includes full-service dining on weekends and a curated grab-and-go selection during the week.
- The Ava Hotel restaurant offerings–dine at one of The Ava Hotel’s delicious new dining venues-Emre (coming soon), Pine Street Bistro and Esperanza on the Rooftop. Look out for Pine Street Bistro’s Meet the Maker Series every second Monday of the month and Esperanza’s upcoming Día de Los Muertos celebration.
- Gravesend–is a new eatery and wine merchant in the popular Paso Market Walk. Keep an eye out for Winemaker Wednesday events beginning on Sept. 24 with Cairjn Wine Cellar.
- Soon to come–the Charlie Palmer culinary suite at thePaso Robles Inn and The Piccolo.
- The new Kitchen 46 at Lone Madrone Winery is now open and serving up seasonal eats, like a rotating oyster and wine option for Friday happy hour and local ingredients from Chef Rob White.
New Around Paso Robles
In makers market Tin City, find an array of eats, distillers, breweries, wineries, and artisan good makers. New features include:
- The beloved, Etto Pastificio, now offers public pasta factory tours where they make the iconic Paso-based Etto Pasta products. And don’t forget to try a dish at Etto Pasta Bar next door.
- Mighty Cap Mushroom–besides supplying mushrooms for many local eateries around town,Might Cap Mushroom now houses its base growing operation, as well as facility tours and a shop in Tin City.
- Kiler Canyon Vineyard opened a new tasting room steps from Tin City where “wine lovers are invited to experience exclusive micro-lot wines, and a one-of-a-kind food & wine experience nestled beneath the towering redwoods.”
New Features at Iconic Destinations
Sensorio-looking ahead into fall at Paso’s premier immersive art destination:

Allegretto Vineyard Resort-Celebrating its 10-year anniversary
- The Allegretto Resort has not only added a flock of sheep and two llamas to their outdoor scene, but the new Star Garden Trail. The trail includes 10 affirmation stations, inviting guests to take a moment of reflection under the corresponding constellations above. A welcome addition to the resort’s already robust wellness experiences including the spa, vineyard yoga and peaceful onsite art tours.
New on the Vineyards
- Vinyl Vineyards introduced a new glamping campground, featuring six American-music themed vintage travel trailers. Enjoy a luxe glamping experience on the Estate surrounded by organic vineyards and hiking trails.
- Opolo Vineyards Estate in Paso Robles’ Willow Creek District, debuts its very first vranac wine, paying homage to cofounder Rick Quinn’s Balkan heritage.
- The Royal Nonesuch Vineyard & Farm–winemaker Anthony Yount and his wifeHilary opened their new tasting room in May on Live Oak Road just off Highway 46in the York Mountain AVA.
- McPrice Myers Wines recently unveiled a brand new, sustainably made Tasting Room to adorn its Adelaida District Estate, where they serve up indoor and outdoor tasting experiences, featuring their iconic Rhône and Bordeaux style wine portfolio.
- Thacher Winery honors a piece of California history with its new Kentucky Ranch White wine made from over 11 varieties that were popular in pre-prohibition times from their vineyards at the 100 year old Kentucky Ranch Estate property.
- Creekcut Wines opened the Social House in the heart of downtown Paso Robles on Vine and 12th, an exclusive Creekcut member hangout. This will be followed closely by breaking ground for the Estate Winery on October 10.
- The Anderson, a brand-new event venue, is set to open in October at the former Tooth & Nail Winery.
