Alta Colina Partners with Paso Robles Horse Park
Partnership Includes Branded Horse Jump And Wine Tasting Event On Saturday Sept 10
September 8, 2016 (Paso Robles, CA) – A unique partnership between Paso Robles winery Alta Colina and the Paso Robles Horse Park will be on display Sept 10 – 11, 2016. Alta Colina, a winery that focuses on Rhône varieties, will be pouring their estate wines at the newly created Wine Down Hour. Alta Colina also commissioned the first winery-themed horse jump that will be revealed at the Park.
“The Park is thrilled to partner with Alta Colina, we love their wines and the local connection, ” said Paso Robles Horse Park Director Amanda Diefenderfer. “We’re happy to incorporate what makes Paso so special – small, family owned wineries – into our horse shows for guests and competitors. Alta Colina is the perfect winery to start with.” Tasting flights and red and white wines by the glass will be available from 3 – 5pm for showground guests on Saturday. A portion of the proceeds will be gifted back to the Park Foundation to support their work promoting access to equestrian sports and serving handicapped and underprivileged children.
Alta Colina is also the first winery to have a special one-of-a-kind branded competition jump located in the L.D. Hayes Jumper Ring. The Paso Robles Horse Park first opened its gates in May 2015 and has already welcomed thousands of top-level horses and riders from a variety of disciplines to compete at this new facility.
Located near the Paso Robles Airport, the Paso Robles Horse Park invites spectators of all ages to come experience showmanship and competition of many levels. Enjoy Alta Colina wines at the Park by the tasting flight or glass as well as the option to purchase with next day delivery. Guests can enjoy the Alta Colina estate located in the Adelaida District of west Paso Robles and its many wine experiences Thursday through Monday 11am – 4pm.
