Rhone Rangers Ride Into DTLA March 25

Taste through nearly 200 high-scoring American Rhone-style rosés, reds and whites this coming Saturday at Civic Center Studios in Downtown LA – all for a single fee.

March 20, 2017 (Los Angeles) – The mavericks of the American wine scene – the Rhone Rangers – are pleased to announce their upcoming tasting on Saturday, March 25 in Downtown LA’s Civic Center Studios.

The one-day wine celebration will begin with a popular rosé tasting seminar with six award-winning winemakers.

The event continues with a VIP Tasting and a General Admission Grand Tasting, showcasing more than 40 different wineries – as well as a silent auction featuring rare large-format wines.

“This is one of our favorite venues in our 20-year history,” says Barbara Smith, president of the Rhone Rangers. “DTLA’s cultural scene and our cutting-edge approach to winemaking is a perfect pairing.”

Tasting Programs

Rosé Seminar – 12-1pm Called Rhone -n- Pink, this popular tasting seminar will feature six Rhone Ranger winemakers who will guide guests through their rosés. The wineries include: Andrew Murray Vineyards, Bonny Doon Vineyard, Lone Madrone, Ranchero Cellars, tercero wines, and Vines on the Marycrest.

VIP Grand Tasting – 2-5:30pm

VIP ticket holders can leisurely taste among hundreds of wines – and begin bidding on silent auction lots – an hour before the general admission begins. The private VIP space offers a lounge area with hors 'd oeuvres, special wines and seating.

Grand Tasting General Admission – 3-5:30pm

The Rhone Rangers main event will feature 40 Rhone Rangers wineries and hundreds of wines. A silent auction featuring hard-to-find large-format wines will be taking place throughout the event. Proceeds benefit the Rhone Rangers Scholarship Fund.
