Pepper Bridge Winery and Amavi Cellars Hire New Sales & Marketing Manager

Katie Sadler, CSW, Continues to Promote the Walla Walla Valley AVA in New Role

May 15, 2018 (Walla Walla, WA) – Katie Sadler, Certified Specialist of Wine, joined Pepper Bridge Winery and Amavi Cellars on May 1 as the Sales and Marketing Manager for the two Walla Walla estate wineries. Sadler’s 9-years of Washington wine experience in working with wholesalers, hosting trade and media and working to promote the Walla Walla Valley primed her for the position.

“Katie adds another layer of professional expertise to our team,” said Jean-François Pellet, winemaker and partner. “Her experience in marketing will help advance our communications and outreach.”

As a Washington native and graduate of Washington State University (WSU), Sadler’s passion for wine began by working in the tasting room at Ruby Hill Winery in Pleasanton, Calif.  After a stint in the Golden State, Sadler moved to Seattle to work with the Washington Wine Commission. Immersing herself into all things Washington Wine she quickly developed a network of industry contacts, honed her skills in wine marketing and public relations and took this experience to Tamarack Cellars, which moved her to the Walla Walla Valley. While at Tamarack she managed all wholesale and distributor communications, traveled to support the brand nationally and took an active role in the promotions of the Walla Walla Valley.

“I’m excited to continue promoting the Walla Walla Valley with Pepper Bridge and Amavi,” said Sadler. “These brands owned by the McKibbens, the Goffs and Pellets are among the most recognized in the region.”

Sadler joins the team during the 20th anniversary year of Pepper Bridge Winery, a milestone the team will celebrate throughout the year.
