Tracy Dauterman, Deputy Director
Tracy Dauterman is an experienced marketing, communications, and management professional, with nearly a decade of experience in the Paso Robles wine and hospitality industry. As an MBA and a former management consultant, Tracy brings experience in business strategy, marketing, and leadership to her role as Deputy Director at Solterra Strategies.
Tracy began her professional career as a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton where she worked for clients in the aerospace & defense industry. In that role, she worked with several well known defense contractors on engagements encompassing strategy, marketing, and supply chain consolidation.
After moving to Paso Robles in 2007, Tracy began her career in the wine industry at JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery in a sales & marketing role. Throughout her 7 years at JUSTIN, Tracy spent time in management roles overseeing marketing and communications, hospitality, and direct to consumer wine sales. Though she was successful at exceeding ambitious sales goals, Tracy considers the relationships she built within her team as her greatest achievement and credits her experience in this leadership role for inspiring her to pursue her MBA.
Tracy is the parent of two elementary school children and actively engaged in supporting the local public school system. Tracy frequently devotes time to the Paso Robles school district and its students, serving on several committees, serving as a mentor to high school students, and as the current PTA President at Winifred Pifer Elementary School which was awarded a National PTA School of Excellence Award for the 23-24 and 24-25 school years for increasing parental engagement.
Tracy holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara and her MBA from Santa Clara University.
